Search function locks up my computer |

It would sound as if a file is corrupted somewhere.
Probably in a windows folder, which means that you are
going to have to reinstall windows, which is a very long
slow process
access to this newsgroup. I will try it again. When I
use my Windows search feature my computer locks up and I
have to alt ctrl del because it is not responding. I did
a defrag and a disk error scan but it still does not
work. It does not even attempt to look for files it just
sits there. It used to work at one time so I don't know
what happend. Does anyone have any ideas? Do I have to
contact MS Support? Thanks.
