System Configuration Utility Problem |
| message from sr on 01 Jun 2004 |
Some items show up twice in the startup tab in System Configuration
Utility. What could cause this problem?

I find that sometimes on rare occasions, if you open "msconfig" and deselect
an item (Music Match is a good example of this), after rebooting, it has
created a new (Second) entry, and rechecked itself. MMJB can be deselected
(As far as loading in the task bar)in settings of MMJB itself, and I assume
this is true of some other programs. Possibly, you may want to check the
"Offending" program(s) you speak of, and see if they too have their own
independant settings to stop them from loading at startup. This has worked
for me. Let me/us know if this applies to your issue.
