System Configuration Utility |

Whenever I try to start "System Configuration Utility" in 'Help & support Center' the command box will start up then disappear within second! Is the system or the file corrupted?

Try getting there from a different way.
go to
Start>run> type in, msconfig
see if that brings you to the utility.
Post back if it does. If it does, at least you can access it, then we can try to figure out why you can't access it from the H&S center.

also, check the error log. Open the Help & Support Center, then on the right, at the bottom of the box, click on 'Tools' It's right above 'Do you Know...?'
Then, click advanced Sysytem Informatin, then click 'view the error log
Scroll until you find the date that corresponds with your last attempt to use the sys. config. utility, and see what the error is, and note the code number.
Highlight and copy the entire error, and paste it here, in your reply.
