Run disk cleanup and disk defragmenter. Run updated virus scan and Adaware
program (downloaded off of the web for free ). Check Task Manager /
Processes and observe what processes are running large amounts of cpu and
memory. Go to Run and type msconfig / go to startup tab , look for exe
programs suggesting dialers or trojans. Jym

have the professional version of XP. overall my sys is slow and i run 2.00
intel , 512 ram and 40giga harddisk.
