Peter,

You have been given strategies to cope with your 'brain damage' (and the
jury is still very much out as to whether it actually exists), yet you
continue to ignore them. It's funny that you can type your email address
correctly (and posting to Usenet with a correct address is a very stupid
thing to do. You'll receive mail all right - but not the kind you'll be
expecting. No one here is going to email you).

And if you really wanted to avoid them, you'd have taken people's
(especially Kath Adams's) advice on board. As you haven't done so, that
statement rings rather hollow.

Suggest you read the below - unless this 'stroke' has also affected your
ability to read and comprehend.

You don't appear to have acted on anyone's advice as regards your computer
problems. Format and start over.

See that long bar on the bottom middle of your keyboard? It is called a
spacebar. If you press it between words, maybe someone will know what you
are talking about!!!

That's more or less what Kath Adams said to him the other day. She couldn't
understand (as I can't) how he can hit all the little keys and yet miss the
biggest one.

That, and his inability to take anything anyone says on board, makes most
suspicious. He's been told on several occasions to wipe the drive and start
clean (or, if he's incapable of doing that, take it to someone who is), but
he's ignored every bit of advice he's been given thus far. Most folk here
have given up on him.

Hey Peter,

people in here and in other newsgroups are generally cruel. It seems that
they have forgotten how to
respect other people. I have not been able to understand why it is like
this.
Just ignore them, and don't post your real email address on the posts.
I wish you a fast recovery.

While I agree there are some here that are condescending, and just plain
mean to others while offering no help, I agree (to a point) with "Miss 1000
Newsgroups Names" on this person. He went beyond getting stale after the
many attempts of advice he got, and his replies were off the topic regarding
the help provided. I tend to think that anyone with that kind of handicap
would have the means to work with a PC for that kind of person. This person
is probably very bored (possibly a kid) and looking for attention.

there are 6 billion people on this planet, I cannot exclude the possibility
that he is genuine.
If he is not he will have wasted only 5.6 seconds of my time my replying to
him. ( I type fast)
But if he is what he says I have gained his sympathy.

See he's got you suckered too... Guess it's true what they say, there's one
born every minute.
