Wow - you mentioned Kazaa. No wonder you have posted twice. I send you my
advice again with the focus being on that you follow ALL of it and not just
the spyware section! I do tell you (near the bottom) how to handle startup
applications/services.

Suggestions on what you can do to secure/clean your PC. I'm going to try
and be general, I will assume a "Windows" operating system is what is
being secured here.

I've often wondered how much stuff is really needed. It seems like
everything you install on your system starts some process running,
even if you aren't using that application at the time. :( I've looked
at BlackViper's site, and shut down some stuff in his 'safe' settings,
only to have something quit working. A system restore got me back to
'today'. I'm just wondering how many processes others have running on
their systems. I'm at 54 processes, right now. The only 'good' thing
is, even with everything running, it seems to be working and at least
I don't have to worry about the resources like I did with Win98se. :)
