Remove Ghost Folder

message from Al on 10 Jun 2004
I have partition M. I used to have a folder containing files name abc. For
some reason, I would have two listings of the same folder. One will list the
files inside of the folder, the other would look empty. I looked and the
creation date was the same for both folders. So I moved my files to a
different partition. Now I still see the ghost folder abc, but when I look
for it's properties, ti say's"M:\". Nothing else. The big annoyance, can't
delete the thing.

I ran checkdisk, remote antivirus, nothing.

Try to remove the folder from prompt, it can't find the folder, but if I do
a dir it's there.

How can I get out of this?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Windows XP SP1a all the patches.
