Recovering Outlook files

Hi guys.

Now that I have recovered most of my data from the faulty disc, can anyone
tell me how I can merge my Microsoft Outlook files from the recovery disc
into my current Microsoft Outlook files?

If worst comes to worst I am happy to overwrite the new files, but I would
prefer not to.

Outlook PST files?

Copy them from the "backup disk", make them NOT read-only, import them.
