RE: WinXP keeps restarting

I don't have pcAnywhere on this system.
Seems to be a corrupt registry.What leads me to believe that is it will boot fine if I select Last Known Good Configuration in the F8 boot menu.It will boot also fine in Safe mode.So my next question woukd be how do I set the system registry back to the good one that it uses when I use that selection.??
