That seems to be exactly what my computer is doing as well, even when I try to reinstall computer freezes at some point and have to start all over if I get more information on how to reslove this I'll pass it along

Thanks I would really appreciate any info that you might uncover on this.
I finally pulled the box and put it aside and configured my laptop for my
wife. I have to go and buy a USB keyboard so she will be able to use the
desk setup I have for her. I know that the computer is a fairly old box so
I will probably end up replacing it.
