You have been given some advice on why you cannot remove Windows Media
Player. Windows Media Player is just files using some space on your hard
drive. You can configure Media Player not to open for any media files. If
you do so, you do loose some hard drive space. However your computer will
not known Media Player exists. Open Media Player and go to Tools, Options
and File Type tab. Clear all of the check boxes for file types.
