Re: User Accounts

message from Kevin on 6 Jun 2004
You are posting from the future. Surely this problem is corrected in the
year 2005? Please fix your clock. Your post will now live on, at the head
of the line, until 2005.

Must be something with your setup, because mine says the correct date..todays date, June 7, 2004. In fact, all the posts, mine, as well as others, all have the correct date...might you have a bug? Have you done a system restore lately?

The first post in the thread shows this date.. Friday, June 03, 2005
6:39 PM.
At least it does for me. The rest have 2004 for the year.

Hmmm..very odd, they all show correct times and dates on my screen...I'm central Time zone, and once this post shows up, I'll check to see how it is displayed.

yup, all correct, except that this shows PST, not CST

Very strange...that one post is the only one showing the wrong date.
I'm central time too.
If I right click the message and look at properties I see this..Fri, 3
Jun 2005 19:39:50 -0400
on the first message from Cynarra...the second one has this in
properties.. Fri, 4 Jun 2004 11:50:40 -0400. Oh well.

Yes. That's what I mean. Because the time and date stamp on that post is
in the future, this post will be right here until June 3, 2005 at 19:39:50
hours when it will then begin to climb the ladder back into the past. Just
make sure your system clocks are all set properly. It could be worse, there
used to be a post on alt.computers that came from 2024! It has since been
expunged. Happy computing!
