(RPC) Remote Procedure Call Unexpected Termination

message from Tommy Vercetti on 4 Jun 2004
As you all know Microsoft's Windows XP Professional has
this virus that shuts down your computer in several
seconds when you connect to the internet caused by the
termination of your computer's (RPC) or Remote Procedure
Call. Fortunately, Microsoft support center has an answer
to this problem. You just need to download a file and it
will correct the this unexpected termination. So what I
did, I downloaded the said file and double clicked it but
by the time it extracts itself and the install wizard
appears it will just disappear and I don't know why! So I
need another solution to this unexpected RPC termination.
If anybody knows just reply ASAP! Help me!!

Don't forget to enable the firewall and download the updates.

Hope this helps.

The install is being shutdown by the virus.you need to clean your system first, the patch is a preventive measure which is too late for you. When your system is about to shutoff bring up the run command and tpye in shutdown -a then hit ok.
But right now turn on your firewall,If it was on this never would have happened in the first place.
