Many of us here where I work experience the same problem. We are running up to date and virus free Windows 2000 and Windows XP pro. Our computers are on a lan with internet access. The W2000 computer on my desk (1.5 Ghz, 512 Mb memory) works reasonably, but if I logon to another computer on the network (using my same login group and name) it takes about 5 minutes for it to "load my personal settings", whatever that means. I might expect it to be slow the first time it does this (loads my settings accross the network) but it take five minutes every time I log onto that machine. A 30 second delay is unacceptable, 1.5 to five minutes is rediculous.
