Remote Desktop Printer Problems

Have been using Remote Desktop for a few months but my HP
Laser printer has now started to freezeup. It is a local
printer but when on Remote to print docs it freezes and
causes system to freeze. Anyone know the answer. Have
upgraded the driver for XP pro at the server end and
locally but still happening.
