Did you get anything to help with this?
I'm using Nero Express.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon\AllocateCDROMs : 0 (Security Option)
This could be a nasty doo-dad has altered the regiistry?
Any ideas??

Hi Rob,

I check my registry and in that key I have the value 1.
Something altered the registry, have you done a scan for viruses and
spyware.
