Thanks for the suggestion. AMD support also suggested the memory as the source of the problems. But why doesn't Memtest show a problem? I'll try another stick. I bought the Apacer 2700 at a very reasonable price. I had heard very good things about Apacer pc2100 memory, but since have found out that Apacer's 2700 is not as good. I suppose that's what I get for being cheap.
