As anyone found a fix yet please I am getting the same since 5th June
2004

FOUND THE FIX!!!

RUN Regedit
Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current
Version\WPAEVENTS

Double click OOBETIMER and change one of the string values eg Change FF
to EE.

Reboot Windows and follow the usual promp for Activating Windows
