Record balance control

I am just getting around to using a recording program called Audio Grabber.

I can record from the linein on my Soundblaster live audio card with no
problem. I am able to adjust the incoming volume via the Windows XP record
volume control window, however I can't adjust the balance slide bar. The
balance slide bars only appear to function on the play volume control
window.

Is this normal or is there a work around?
