Ick. That sounds like the SOFTWARE portion of your registry has become
corrupted.

To be truthful, I have ran across this only twice - I could not recover. I
ghosted the machine for the data, reinstalled, copied the data back and
moved on. In both of the two cases I also had to replace the hard drive.
(Physically bad.)

How would I go about getting onto my system so I can save all my files to cd ect?? ghosting on?? I need help:S
Is there not a way to just reinstall windows and it will copy over the old copy,that would fix the SOFTWARE folder in the registry?
