Printer Wireless Connection |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?VGFtYXJhIE8u?= on 8 Jun 2004 |
I have hooked up 2 computers to one printer, (wireless connection) the issue is, when it asks me what kind of printer I have on computer #2, I look for it on the list and it's not there. i have an Epson Stylus CX3200, which works wonderful on computer #1, not sure which one of the ones listed is compatable. I am also wondering since my printer is not listed, could I just install the software on to computer #2 and click on Have Disk? When I installed the software on Computer #1 I needed to make sure that the software was installed before I even plugged the printer into the computer. Will I need to unplug my printer again? Not sure!

It is a relatively simple process.
The Epson CX3200 is a PC attached printer, USB connection.
Thus you have it 'installed on your Computer #1'.
This should be set up as a shared device on Computer #1. Go to Printers and Faxes, right click on the Epson and choose properties. Then click on the Sharing Tab.
NBow once you've done this, on Computer #2, use the Printer Wizard to install a network printer and browse you network to find the Epson on Computer#1. You shouldn't need the CD at all.
