Offline File Setup

I have setup a network folder that contains files I want available
offline. It seems to work fine, synchronizes properly, the files are
available and everything is cool.

However, I have noticed that the offline files are actually using up
disk space on my primary partition C. I have 2 partitions, 8 G and 35
G (on D). Is there anyway to force XP to synchronize the offline
files to D drive, or will it automatically do this if C is full?
