Odd serious system error

message from Steve Raymond Neel on 8 Jun 2004
Hi, this morning I got off of my computer and let it do it's thing, go into
standby mode... when I woke up to activate the computer, a blue screen was
there telling me of a driver causeing an error and had to shut down windows
to protect it. also some other info for if it happens again... It was also
dumping my system memory, very slowly... so I turned it off and turned it
back on, which started fine, did a system scan, which found nothing wrong (I
guess) when it started back up, a screen popped up saying "Your system has
recovered from a serious error" and has generated a file for microsoft
system crash reporting... and also had something to do with Intel... does
anyone have any thoughts on this? also were can I find the file of my system
scans? so I can see it's findings?. Thanks.

Start/Run/Eventvwr.msc
See if there are any errors in the logs.

You will find the chkdsk log entry in the Application log of Event Viewer.
