Greetings --

Spybot (assuming that you mean Spybot Search & Destroy) won't do a
thing to help solve any virus problems. It's sole purpose is to
detect and help remove adware and spyware.

What makes you think that you do have viruses? What specific
antivirus application are you using to identify these purported
viruses? Have you followed the removal instructions provided, if any?

Has the thought of using an antivirus application not occurred to
you?

Take a look at http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
I'm assuming that you cannot access the Internet at all (i.e. it's not just
the browser which could indicate other issues).
You seem to be confused re. viruses vs. spyware, but repair of some of
either can sometimes damage tcp functionality. The above link has a good
repair utility.

How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install

If a "Repair Install" does not work, your system files are
likely hopelessly corrupted and you'll need to prepare for a
"Clean Install" of Windows XP.
