Modem trouble while online |

While I'm online (dial up connection) I keep getting disconnected from the internet. A message pops up saying "Your modem is not working properly or is already in use." The phone cord is plugged in properly. When I try logging back in, the same message keeps popping up. Sometimes I can be online for around 5 minutes and this message will pop up. I checked the modem and it is working properly and all the drivers are updated and compatible. If anyone out there can help me, please email me at isha_duenas@msn.com. Thank you!
