Low Virtual Memory |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?dGVja28=?= on 10 Jun 2004 |
"So I was on the web & get this warning about my "Virtual Memory" being low(what the....?!). Can somebody please tell me what this means & what virtual memory is? Is it my fault that it's low & if so what can I do to fix this? Does it have anything to do with downloading & such? Thanks for all replies.

Virtual Memory is actually unused hard drive space that Windows will access
and use as it needs it. It is sometimes called the Page File. Be wary of
windows that pop up when surfing the web, they are not all legitimate
Windows messages. Unless you have limited hard drive space there is no
worry that your Virtual Memory is "low".
