Why does my computer involuntarily restart itself all the time???!!!!
I'm working with some applications (office, installing something) and it just RESTARTS?!!!!
HELP!!!!

Hi,
could you check your event viewer
start
run
eventvwr
select system and find an entry could you then note down what's there most likely it will show an exclamation mark or be in red when your pc rebooted and then post back.

also do you get a message form nt_authority_system if so you could have a virus in your machine

This could be a overheating problem. Open the computer case clean out the dust bunnies and check and see if your fans are running.

Uncheck auto-restart , System Properties / advanced / startup and recovery.
This should give you a error message screen , before you manually restart.
Copy and repost the entire error message if further help is desired. Jym
