When I first got my computer I had Academic Planet for my internet service, but have changed to another provider. The problem is when connecting the Explorer comes up with provided by Academic Planet and Outlook does not work correctly and I have had several interruptions while on the internet with any of the information sent back being about AP not being the appropriate provider. Can anyone help me to change the provider that shows on Internet Explorer. Also how do I get Explorer to show up on the desktop as a shortcut.

Hi,
Go to Start > Run > regedit
search for Academic Planet
Erase the words Academic Planett, don't forget to create a restore
point also.
Search for the file iexplore.exe,
when you find it, right click it and choose send --to desktop (as a
shortcut)
Good luck
