I can only see some Icons on my display screen. Apparently my appearance settings are "black fonts, black highlights, black background, black bolding, etc. " I have tried 'restoring to a previous setting that worked', 'safe mode', 'vga mode'. 'directory restore mode' without a hint of results. I am using a slow but working Power Mac to access the Internet in hopes of a solution. What is the easiest most effective way of restoring the display settings? I thought safe mode was the answer. Thanks for your help!
