Internet-Trouble after installing SP1

message from Frank White on 4 Jun 2004
Hi Folks,

using Windows XP Pro I recently installed SP1. Afterwards i figured out
several Problems using the internet. I cant connect to any secure website or
pop3-server any more using Outlook and Internet-Explorer. All
ssl-connections dont work any more. Also the msn-messenger does not connect
giving an error message 0x80004005. Using non MS-software i still can use
all these servers. Uninstalling SP1 did not fix this problem. Has anyone an
idea how to fix this for it is very annoying.

Thanx

Frank

Try this first, in IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files. If your cache is full
you will have issues.
Do you have Norton?
