How do you re-register Windows XP?

I work for a company that builds and sells XP machines. I have accidently registered one of the machines with the wrong info. How do I go back and change that to reflect the correct info?

Registration (not to be confused with activation) is not required in the
first place so I wouldn't think it would be a problem to leave it as is.

Reformat the hard drive and reinstall XP.
