HPCMPMGR always running....??

Whenever I go to log off my computer, it has started saying that HPCMPMGR (whatever that is) is running, and that by shutting my computer off, it could harm the file. I always shut it down, but then today when I logged in, I had an Error Report for the HP Framework Component Manager Service. Is this the same thing? How can I get this to stop running continuously?
