Files and setting transfer wizard fault |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?Sms=?= on 4 Jun 2004 |
I want to transfer files from my old PC to my new one. When I use the files and settings transfer wizard I get a choice of creating a wizard disk or using the windows XP cd. My PC came with XP preloaded so I need to create a disk. However the program does not recognise my dvd/cd writer combo drive E. Is there anything I can do to make it read this drive? I have been back to the supplier and visited other stores and all other PC's I have looked at have the same problem with the wizard.

Try clicking the "browse button",then locate my computer or C:,then cd/dvd
drive, with a cd installed, you should be able to locate the data, then select the file
or folder for the wizard to copy from.
