Explorer and internet explorer won't launch |

Windows XP Pro SP1 has been running stable on Compaq for 4 months. Got that
whenyousearch search bar somehow. Deleted it from control panel with a few
other things like clocksync and Save. Now neither internet explorer or the
file manager explorer will launch. Hourglass starts then just disappears
quickly. Tried reinstalling XP using the upgrade option to maintain all data
but still does the same thing. What do I do next? Other internet aps work
fine (OE, Messenger etc.)Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Indicates that some parts of the nasty were not removed. Have you tried
running Adaware from www.lavasoft.de yet?
