DVD Re-enable |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?UmFibWlk?= on 31 May 2004 |
At some point my DVD disabled (kids?). Windows can't re-enable it. Any ideas on how I can sort this?

Hi
Have you tried to uninstall the DVD drive via Device Manager, then rebooting
to see if Windows will re-detect it?

Uninstall + reboot worked fine. Many thanks

Try going to your control panel, select system, then device manage. See if
your DVD device is enabled or if there is something else by looking at the
properties for that device
