DirectX problems |

Hello, I started to experience problems playing games on
zone.com. Before I had never had a problem. I verified
all the security settings and there were no updates that
I had not downloaded. After searching the Microsoft
knowledge data base I downloaded & ran the DirectX
diagnostic tool. On it's "system" page it indicated I had
DirectX 9.0b(4.09.0000.0902). However,when I looked at
the individual DirectX files they indicated different
versions from 5.00 to 5.03. None of them indicated they
were version 9.0b.
Can anyone tell me if I have a problem here & if so how
do I fix it? Thank you.
