Disk checking

message from =?Utf-8?B?V2VsbHM=?= on 30 May 2004
Each time I start XP I get the blue screen and the message one of your disks needs checking. However, the disk check starts and then locks up completely. I can get the computer to boot just fine by bypassing this screen by hitting enter but does anyone out there know how I can eliminate the problem?

Don't know if it would help, but you could try running the disk check once logged in. Click Start, then Run, and type chkdsk, then run it.

Hi,

Go to the Recovery console and type:
