Can Xp display more detalis about video files? |
| message from The Old Timer on 8 Jun 2004 |
When I click on explorer in Windows XP & look at files I find that video
files are just listed as video files. Can you get it to be more specific &
automatically display AVI, MPEG2 etc.?

Try using View -- > Details and see if thats what your looking for.
Also you could change the show file extention for known file types under
the Tools -- > Folder Options -- > View Tab -- then change the option
listed to show file extention for known file types.
Hopefully one or the other will help.
