CTRL + F4 doesn't works |

If i press CTRL + F4 keys, my word document (for example, but it's the
same in other software) is not closed..
there's some settings?

Try ALT + F4 - that's the usual combination for closing the active window

In MDI (Multiple Document Interface) applications (they have a Window =
menu) Ctrl + acts on the window. Alt acts on the application.

Try Ctrl + W, What does Word say the key does.
Type winword /a
does it work now.
