CAN'T BOOT Windows XP????

The pc starts to boot, but then a FAT32 message comes up and needs to check disk, usually locking up. I can't get past this. What can I do? Help???? I have a project that needs to be done tomorrow????

Hi,

Do you have the retail XP CD?
You could try booting to the recovery console and running
chkdsk /r
which checks the disk and fixes errors.
