Cracky speakers

message from =?Utf-8?B?R2VvcmZyZXk=?= on 8 Jun 2004
My speakers are always cracking, at first I tried to turn the volume settings down, then I updated drivers on my sound card(SB audigy audio[B800]) without any luck. Then today I bought 4.1 surround sound speakers and thay were also cracky so I realized that it couldn't be the quality of the speakers makeing them crack. I don't know what else to do. HELP!

I'm afraid if you want totally crackle-free speakers, you're going to have
to buy digital.

Hi,

Does this happen with all programs or with only one?

In some games, on the internet, and when the computer starts up. Thats where it cracks.

Hi,

Check this thread:

You can also try using shielded cables and rellocating the speakers.
