Boot.ini

I have a laptop and i am trying to install windows XP Home Edition on it. My Cd rom is not working so i tried to insert a floppy start up disk. It says i'm missing the boot.ini file but i cant seem to find one on line....Help

Hi Porfirio,

The boot.ini file depends on the characteristics of the hard drive of
the computer, so I doubt just any boot.ini file could help.

You can download a set of floppy disks from Microsoft though,
