Burn problems |

My husband can burn his music but I can not burn my pictures. I have tried using a different software that he uses but still no luck. It has told be the disk is not useable but it is brand new, one time my husband even burned music on one after I got the error. Please help. Would it help if I found someone with an external burner or would I have the same issues.

Lots more info needed, is your husband using the built in XP recording?
Are you using this as well? You might want to try downloading a
different program and burning your picture files. You should able to
record them with just about any program. What error are you getting
when burning them? Are you burning the files as simple data or as some
form of picture cd?

it sounds like you're making a MULTISESSION CD and not finalizing it.
when a disk is not yet finalized then XP (or any OS) won't see all the
files on the disk, it usually only sees the audio files. Once the disk is
finalized the data files will show up. read the help on MULTISESSION.
