Application Error Dialogue Box? |
| message from Hobbes on 02 Jun 2004 |
Ever since I installed Win XP Pro when it first came out, which must be
about 18 months ago now, I've been plagued by "Application Error" dialogue
boxes whenever I close various programs. It only happens with about 60
percent of the programs I have installed on my computers.
I have two computers in my studio both running their own copies of XP Pro,
one retail and one OEM. But they both suffer from the same problem. I
assumed it was a bug when I first installed XP and have tried my best to
ignore it on both computers. Even after installing Service Pack 1 to both
computers it still persists.
Could someone please tell me how to get rid of it because it's finally
getting me down?
Here I'll list the dialogue box error message when I close Adobe Premiere
Pro 1.5...........................................
834 Adobe Premiere Pro.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f57bd2" referenced memory at 0x017f0010". The
memory could not be "read".
Click to terminate the program
All help gratefully received.
