A little performance tip..

message from tarquinlinbin on 31 May 2004
Have been using XP for a couple of years and never spotted this so
with apologies for those already in the know..

Control panel/system/advanced/peformance settings click adjust for
best performance.

gave my system a bit of a boost!!

by the way,,what sort of transfer speeds should i expect from a UDMA
66 hard drive?. Some comparisons would be useful i.e whats your system
and what results do you get using HD Tach?

Always keep antivirus and spy removal applications (links on the bottom of the page) up-to-date, and scan regularly.
