Add/Remove Windows Components Not Working |
| message from Pat O. on 1 Jun 2004 |
When I click on the "Add/Remove Windows Components" tab of the Add/Remove
dialog, I get a window saying something like: please wait while windows
make the requested configuration changes. It appears to be running the
component installer that would normally run after changes to the windows
componets have been made. After completing the installation, it says
components have been installed successfully and I click finish. I never got
a chance to select or de-select windows components. I can't even get a the
list of components to come up. It immediately jumps into this "install
sequence". I have rebooted with no luck. I don't know when this problem
started, because you I don't add windows components very often. Thanks in
advance for any help.
