¿Cómo ejecutas regedit? ¿...Inicio > Ejecutar > regedit?
Si es así, ¿No aparece ningún mensaje de Windows?

Asi es no aparece nada!! realmente no hace nada, ningun=20
tipo de mensaje

Busca el ejecutable (regedit.exe), que se encuentra en C:\WINDOWS, y ejecútalo directamente. A ver
si ahora se abre el editor del registro.
