saving db-2000 format vs 2002/2003 |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?ZGxhemVuYnk=?= on 16 May 2004 |
I have Access 2003. Some of my files are apparently saved as "(Access 2000 file format)" as that is what the database window shows. I have no need to save it in any format other than default 2003 as I am the only one who will be using this db.
1. Should I try to convert from 2000 format to 2003? if so, how?
2. Are there advantages to saving in 2003 vs 2000?
Thanks.

I wouldn't
Not any for 2003 if you aren't using 2003 feature (your not, or you couldn't
be using 2000 format) But there are advantages to using 2000 format if you
can: That being that every version since can read it so you can share data
with more people.
