s_GUID listed in drop down list box

I have a database (my customer states the database is not replicated; I do not know if he uses the brief case feature). Regardless, on one of the forms there is a drop-down list box. If the information is for an existing record - the box shows appropriate information stored in the key field. But if I expand the list to see my options, the s_GUIDs are listed.

I found a blip in some old article that replication fields were displayed back in Access 95 and this was fixed with Access 97. This is an Access 97 database recently converted to Access 2000.
