read only files |
| message from =?Utf-8?B?Q2VlSmF5?= on 16 May 2004 |
When I copy a database to a cd it becomes a read only file. I have tried to change it by going into the property part of the document and I click off read only, leaving no checks on anything then when I try to apply I get this message "an error occured applying attributes to the file". What am I doing wrong.

Does the ROM in CD-ROM not mean: Read Only Memory?

CeeJay,
All files placed on a CD become read only.
They will always be that way.
You can reset them when you copy them back to your hard drive.
